The purpose of the Association shall be to promote and advance the interests of the guidance and counseling professionals who work in Eastern Suffolk County. The organization strives to provide a vehicle through which those engaged in counseling, guidance and related work can exchange ideas, seek solutions to common problems and to encourage good professional counseling practices within schools, colleges, and the membership of the organization.
