Dear Colleague:

Happy Fall! We are sending you this invitation to participate in this year’s Annual East
End Counselors Association (EECA) Fall College Fair which will be held at
Southampton High School on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, from 10:30 am-1 pm.

We have carefully chosen over 300 colleges, trade/technical, vocational schools and the
military to attend this event. Participation will be on a first-come, first-serve basis to the
first 150 schools with a deadline of September 14, 2007. This ensures that all
participants will be represented in the College Night Journal. Please follow the deadlines
listed in the packet so we can produce a professional event.

If you accept our invitation, the committee recommends that your college representative
be a professional member of your admissions and/or recruiting staff who is
knowledgeable about your school’s EOP and/or minority program. We prefer that you do
not send alumni or non-professional representatives.

If you cannot attend this year, please return the reply form and let us know if you wish
to stay on the invitation list for next year.

The fee for one representative attending the Fall College Fair 2007 program is
$75.00 Additional representatives are welcome to attend for $50.00 each. The total fee
must be by check or voucher on or before Sept. 28, 2007. After this date, money cannot
be refunded. Included in this mailing is one copy of a facsimile bill which your
institution can use for billing purposes. If necessary, payment vouchers should be
forwarded for signature to the payee named on the face of the bill.

We will continue to use the arena format which will include a table but no provisions for
electrical hookups. Tables are arranged in alphabetical order.

We have changed the format of our College Fair Journal this year, utilizing a chart
format with each college’s demographic information obtained from The College
Board website.

We welcome our past participants and look forward to meeting new faces as we continue
to support our East End students in their pursuit of higher education.
