There are numerous committees within EECA that handle fundamental and essential responsibilities of the Association. Each committee allows members the opportunity to participate and become actively involved in the East End Counselors Association. We are always in need of volunteers. 1 Membership Committee: Responsible for coordinating and promoting new and renewed membership. 2 College Fair Committee: Assists the co-chairs to plan, implement, and execute both the fall and spring college fair schedules. 3 College Tour Committee: Assists the co-chairs to plan, coordinate, and schedule the annual spring college tour trip. 4 Financial Aid & NCAA Night Scholarships and Recognition Awards Committee: This Committee will review nominations and make recommendations to the Executive Board. Recognition Awards will be announced and presented at the annual end of year celebration. 5 Communication/Public Relations Committee: Responsible for all print and electronic communications, inform the membership of all events, press releases, and announcements. 6 Professional Development Day Committee: Assists the chair in selecting a topic, speaker, sponsor, schedule, and arrangement of this event. 7 Welcome Back Meeting & End of Year Celebration Committee: Responsible for developing, coordinating, overseeing, securing sponsorship, and selecting the location of these two events. 8 Annual Administrator Breakfast and Administrative Assistant Luncheon Committee: Responsible for developing, coordinating, overseeing, securing and selecting the location of these two events. |
